For those interested in the purchase of semen, we offer a flexible, top quality service with a

premium guarantee. We have semen available from our high quality stallions. If you are interested in semen from one of our stallions please contact us to discuss your needs and we will be happy to help you.

Your mare can be sent to Allerthorpe Farm Stud where our vets will examine her and advise you on the optimum time for insemination. Alternatively your own vet can advise you on this.

Frozen semen

Frozen semen is stored in liquid nitrogen and has an indefinite storage life. The frozen semen is thawed just prior to insemination.

Frozen semen of your choice can be purchased and delivery arranged to your required destination for the designated veterinary surgeon to perform the insemination.

For those clients for who would like our own AI technicians to perform the procedure, we can arrange on site livery at Allerthorpe Farm Stud where we can monitor your mare and perform the  insemination at the optimum time.

As it is of the utmost importance that your mare is in tip top condition for the procedure, we will advise you on the best course of treatment to help her chance of conceiving.
We only offer frozen semen that has been quality graded to maximise conception potential.

Fresh semen
We offer the same first class service for those wishing to use fresh semen, our AI technicians can collect fresh semen on request and arrange delivery to your required destination.

Premium Guarantee
As we are dedictaed to giving our clients the best possible service, we will supply a second provision of semen free of charge if the mare does not conceive first time.
